Artist statement
Then I choose to do a six word story since it is simple but yet very complex to convey a story in such a short format. This story is placed at a place that I could see myself in the future as a law enforcement officer. It shows the struggle of working under a political microscope.
Reflection
Many people have come to believe that personality is stagnant in a person. They think this because from their point of view others around them don’t seem to change that much. But I feel that this perception is incorrect.

    I liked your piece it was nice. I think it goes well with explaining this is basically what a police officer goes through or what you will go through if you want to become a police officer.

    There's no name so I don't know who wrote this piece. Being in the law enforcement is very difficult and it would be brave for you to work for it. I like that you tied the length of your piece into the whole aspect of what being a cop is, instead of just tying in the words you chose. Its a little short and I would like to see more and know how this describes you.

    I can really relate to your blog, I also want to be a cop when I'm out of high school, I actually plan to be a police officer. I really like your 6 word story, it really describes a cop life good, especially for being 6 words. What makes you want to be a cop?

    I think you did a great job with backing up your flash fiction with your artist statement. And i can relate to this because I've always wanted to be a cop since i was little and have done some training for it.

    I like your flash fiction. I also like your idea of how police officer's life is, but I feel like your artist statement could be stronger if you explain little more.

Flash Fiction: You pushed her too far; no, it was her own decisions. You were too much; she just didn’t know what to do. Your mother is supposed to love you unconditionally; protect you; support you; be there for you. She didn’t do that for you; she walked away, not you. You needed guidance but only got a door in your face. You have five minutes, get out. You needed her. Did she need you? Are you still being selfish? Were you even selfish in the first place?
